Job Orders Form
Keep track of the positions at the customer companies which you intend to fill with candidates you have recruited.
Job order information must include the position title, the company contact who provided the job order, the date the order is opened, and a few user-defined codes. Other descriptive information, such as rates/salary and job functions, may also be collected.
Special instructions that are entered for companies and contacts are carried forward to the Special Instructions page of every job order that is subsequently created for those entities. Additional job-specific instructions can be added to these.
Profiles describe the skills required of any candidate who might be considered for filling the job order. Each code includes the criterion (MUST Have, OR Group, LIKE To Have or Must NOT Have), and a minimum acceptable level of proficiency with the skill. As you add profiles to a job order, SkillTrack ensures that the associated company and contact information are updated with the skill. You can click a button to load your profile definitions into the SkillTrack Search module, where you may apply filters to fine-tune your search. Then, just click the Search button and within seconds SkillTrack will present you with the list of candidates who meet all of your MUST Have and filter requirements, and will rank them according to the number of OR Group and LIKE To Have profiles they have. The names that appear at the top of the results list are your very best matches to the defined criteria.
Milestone events such as résumé submittal to a client about this job order, interview with a client, and the all-important placement with a client should be tracked via the SkillTrack Activities page. Activities are accessible from any of the Big Four forms.
Ongoing correspondence and rounds of telephone tag can be tracked on the Follow-up History page. As with Activities, the Follow-up History information is accessible from all of the Big Four forms.
The Appointments page lets you set up appointments and other ticklers. All appointments are accessible from the Big Four forms; your own appointments can also be accessed via the My Appointments form. Ask SkillTrack to remind you of the appointment, and a notification will be presented at the time you ask.
SkillTrack offers the ability to add comments throughout the system,
just where you need them most. This is a very powerful feature, allowing
you to store remarks with the appropriate entity (candidate, company,
contact, job order, special instructions, activity, appointment,
follow-up history, and more). This compartmentalization makes retrieving
pertinent remarks extremely efficient.
