 ALTERNATIVE MODES OF HEALING After the World Health Organization established an Office for Alternative Medicine to conduct research and evaluate different approaches to healing, interest in alternative modes of healing (e.g., homeopathy, acupuncture, acupressure, reiki, qi gong) has increased. We intend to open a dialogue on the inclusion of alternative modes of healing in the public health system.
