ANNUAL CONFERENCE
The Annual International Conference on the Study of
Shamanism and Alternative Modes of Healing was
founded in 1984 to preserve and further the integrity of shamanism
and share the latest insights in the field of alternative healing.
Since the passing of its founder, Dr. Ruth-Inge Heinze, a team of
former participants has been carrying the work of conference
preparation.
In 2008 we will celebrate the 25th Annual International
Conference on the Study of Shamanism and Alternative Modes of
Healing.
It will be held, as is customary, on Labor Day weekend at
the Santa Sabina Center, San Rafael, California, August 30, 9am –
September 1, 4pm.
This year’s conference will include a Ruth-Inge
Heinze Memorial Lecture by Dr. Stanley Krippner. Detailed information
